Not all people have an equitable opportunity to be remembered for who they are and we want to change that. Our Foundation already provides free access to industry-leading digital preservation software to anyone with an email address and internet access via Permanent.org. But that is not enough to preserve the digital legacy of all people. With the generous support of people like you, we do more. 

We work to invite, include, and support people and communities on Permanent.org who have been underrepresented in the existing historical narrative and are still at risk of being underrepresented in the future. We design our newsletters, podcasts, posts, calls and programs to uplift work being done to preserve those stories. And we invite participation in our Byte4Byte program to charitable organizations that preserve those stories through community outreach and archiving.
